The perfection of truth or truthfulness (sacca parami) can refer to the ‘external’ practice of truth, the ethical discipline of truth — acting with integrity and speaking the truth, rather than exaggerating, lying, gossiping.
It also refers to an inner clarity about the true nature of reality — the truth in the sense of what is actually happening, what is in our direct experience.
The quality of truthfulness becomes the clarity of wisdom.
This 22-minute guided practice with Heather Fenton begins with mindfulness of breath in the body and then shifts into an exploration of what is true in our direct experience.
